Reut Landau Therapy
Hello and welcome! My name is Reut Landau and I am a licensed therapist with 11 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families overcome life’s challenges.
As a therapist I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth and change, and that therapy can provide the tools and support needed to achieve personal and interpersonal goals. I am committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, gain insight into patterns and behaviors, and develop strategies for moving forward.
My areas of expertise include anxiety, depression and navigating new life transitions like parenthood. I take an integrative approach to therapy, tailoring treatment to meet your unique needs and goals.
I look forward to the opportunity to support you on your journey to healing and growth.

Individual Therapy
During individual therapy we will identify and explore the underlying issues that are causing distress in your life. This may include issues related to anxiety, depression, self esteem, trauma, life transitions and relationship issues.
I will use a variety of therapy approaches and techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused therapy and Narrative therapy. The approach used will be tailored to your needs and goals.
I typically like to meet weekly in the early stages of therapy either in person or virtually from the comfort of your home or office.
$160 per 50 minute session

Couple's Therapy
Are you and your partner constantly arguing, frustrated with one another and can’t seem to communicate or get your needs met? Couple’s therapy can help couples improve their communication, resolve conflicts and strengthen their relationship. During couple’s therapy, I will work with both partners to identify the underlying issues and patterns that are causing distress in the relationship. I will help you deepen and strengthen your relationship by developing strategies and skills to address the root issues. And most importantly - I won’t take sides.
$240 per 75 minute session

Walk and Talk Therapy
Walk and talk therapy is a type of therapy that involves walking outdoors while engaging in therapy. Rather than sitting in a traditional office, we get outside in a natural setting such as a park or nature trail. Walking and being nature can have a calming effect on the body and mind, which can help you feel relaxed and open to exploring difficult emotions or issues.
Walk and talk therapy emphasizes the mind- body connection and can be particularly helpful for clients who struggle with sitting still or feeling confined in an office setting as well as for those who find it difficult to open up and talk about their feelings.
$180 per 50 minute session

$85 per hour of supervision

Insurance
I am an out-of-network provider and am happy to provide a receipt of services or super bill upon request.

What to Expect
Therapy always begins with an intake session so I can get to know you and your goals. This can be done either in person or via Telehealth (you decide). During the intake I gather information on you and your mental health concerns. We speak about your history, family, symptoms etc. You will also take some clinical measures so we can keep track of your progress over time. Towards the end of session we will create goals together, collaboratively and decide how often to meet.
About Me
A little bit about me - I was born in Israel but moved to the US at 2 years old. I grew up in San Diego and after spending some time in Los Angeles ultimately decided to build my life in San Diego. My name is pronounced Ray-oot but a lot of people call me Rey.
I’ve been married for 13 years, have two children and two long haired dachshunds. I understand the challenges of parenting young children, being a working mom and dealing with competing demands.
Prior to becoming a therapist I worked as a supervisor of an ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) program helping families and children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I have always loved helping families, children and adolescents and ultimately decided to continue on with my passion by becoming a therapist.
Being a therapist has always been my dream and I love that I get to meet people everyday and help them work toward a life that feels authentic and peaceful. I received my Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from San Diego State and have additional training in CBT, Mindfulness and EFT. I am licensed in both California and Florida.
I know that coming into therapy can seem daunting and finding a therapist can be difficult which is why I offer a free 15 minute consultation so I can get to know you and your needs before you decide if you want to work together.
